It began in

2011

Our inspirations came from a festival we attended. Inspired by all the creativity we left there with so many visions of creations to come!

We thought long and hard about our roots which come from a Indigenous family tree.

We discussed the materials we wanted to work with and our own personal ethics regarding those materials. We concluded that our ethical standards lie with supporting our Indigenous communities across Canada. We purchase materials from these communities and support local. One example of this is we purchase our leather from Tribal Spirit. Their leather is upcycled from hunters who would otherwise send pelts and hides to landfills.
We also upcycle old fur coats as well as road kill.
We highly respect animals and revere them greatly.

I began to write down my ideas. Then I realized I didn't know how to sew. I taught myself and the rest was history.
I was not fond of patterns, so I concluded that I would create my own. This moved me into the creative process more as I started to create custom pieces that boasted primitive primal feelz. Raw edging, perfectly unperfect materials that turned into epic ensembles to be worn with nature.

Those ideas lead to

expansion

As time went on I couldn't keep up with all the inspiration that came to me. So now I keep a journal going with years of ideas and things to come.

We continue providing the same services since but have dramatically expanded! Every year new things, new ideas.

Bones and skulls are all road kill and / or remains found during our time in the trees

Giving Back To

Nature

10% of proceeds goes to Wildlife Rescue in Ontario
As a Wildlife Rehabilitator the costs to rehabilitate orphaned animals is incredible and can prohibit rehabbers to care for them.

PrimalForged

We are so fortunate to have been given this opportunity in life. We love what we do, we are what we do.

Much love
